This is a true V6-specific gear, not a 4-cylinder gear with a spacer adapter -- an important distinction as the Toyota V6 and 4-cylinder axles share the same housing but use different gear geometry. The 29-spline pinion matches the V6 carrier spec; verify your pinion spline count before ordering.

Yukon manufactures these gears using high-grade steel with a designed surface finish that reduces friction and heat under sustained high-load conditions -- race, rock crawl, or heavy towing.
