Product Description

Modified 6.7L Power Strokes running upgraded tuning, injectors, or turbos generate torsional loads well beyond what the factory rubber-bonded balancer was designed to absorb, and that stress lands directly on the crankshaft, bearings, and timing components. Fluidampr's updated 800241 replaces it with a viscous damper built to control that vibration under sustained high-torque conditions, protecting the bottom end during serious performance builds.

Beyond the core damping upgrade, this revision adds real installation flexibility - extra oil pan clearance for later 6.7L applications and six pre-drilled bolt holes that support Fluidampr's optional aluminum Dry Sump Adapter for competition builds running external dry sump oiling. Professional installation with a proper damper tool is strongly recommended; the crankshaft snout should never be hammered during install.
