Product Description

Factory rear upper control arms on the '64-'67 A-body are thin stamped steel with soft rubber bushings - a combination that deflects under load, costing traction and making handling feel vague at the limit. The UMI 4018-R replaces them with a tubular steel design fitted with Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings, cutting down on the flex and deflection that lead to wheel hop and inconsistent cornering.

It's a direct bolt-on swap that takes about an hour with basic hand tools, making it a practical upgrade whether the car sees weekend cruising or regular track time. The non-adjustable design keeps things simple for a straightforward handling and traction improvement - if on-car pinion angle adjustment matters for your build, UMI's adjustable version is the step-up option.
