• Designed as a REMUS resonated front silencer for compatible REMUS sport-exhaust systems.
• For Volkswagen Golf VII R 4Motion applications, REMUS identifies the 956014 0300 front silencer with the pre-facelift 221 kW configuration from 2014.
• The later Golf VII R facelift 228 kW configuration uses REMUS 956517 0300 and is not interchangeable with 956014 0300.
• Golf VII R applications equipped with the later gasoline particulate filter configuration require the corresponding REMUS GPF-compatible exhaust components.
• This is a front/resonated exhaust section only and is not a complete exhaust system.
• Must be installed with the compatible REMUS sport exhaust components.

The REMUS 956014 0300 is a stainless-steel resonated front silencer designed for compatible REMUS exhaust systems on Volkswagen Golf VII R 4Motion and Audi S3 Type 8V applications. For the Golf R, it is engineered around the 2.0L TSI turbocharged four-cylinder and the 221 kW pre-facelift configuration. The component provides the resonated front section required for the corresponding REMUS sport-exhaust system.

Constructed from 100% stainless steel, the 956014 0300 uses a 76 mm REMUS tube diameter and a flow-oriented internal design intended to reduce back pressure while maintaining a controlled exhaust tone. REMUS describes the component as lightweight, precisely shaped for fitment, handmade in Austria, and EC homologated for the applicable configuration.

The 956014 0300 is not a complete exhaust system and must be paired with the appropriate REMUS sport exhaust. Golf VII R facelift vehicles using the later 228 kW engine configuration use the different 956517 0300 front silencer, so engine output and exhaust configuration should be verified before installation.
