Product Description

The Prothane 7-521 is a motor mount insert kit built for 2WD Chevrolet Astro and GMC S-10 trucks with the 4.3L V6 engine, replacing the factory rubber voids with durable, American-made polyurethane. By filling the gaps designed into OE motor mounts, it significantly improves power transfer from the engine to the wheels compared to stock.

Because those factory voids were originally there to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness, some drivers may notice increased NVH after installation - a trade-off many performance-minded Astro and S-10 owners consider worth it for the handling and drivetrain response gains. Backed by a lifetime warranty, it's a durable, affordable upgrade tested for both street and off-road use.
