Product Description

The Hawk HB248U.650 brings the DTC-70 race compound to the rear axle of the Corvette and Cadillac XLR platforms, delivering the extremely high torque and aggressive initial bite that top-tier racing series demand. Its superior rotor and pad wear characteristics, combined with excellent modulation and release, make it a proven choice for drivers pushing these cars hard on track.

DTC-70 is commonly run on the rear axle in combination with DTC-60 up front on heavier performance cars like the Corvette, giving racers a tuned front-to-rear brake bias suited to serious wheel-to-wheel competition. This is a dedicated race compound rather than a street pad - as with all Hawk compounds, it's built for iron/metal rotors and is not compatible with carbon ceramic brake systems.
